Ruana tejida en telar manual con hilado 100 % puro de pelo de llama hilado a mano en la puna argentina y seda de capullo. Teñido con resina de laca ,resina producida por el insecto laccifer lacca en la corteza de ciertos arboles asiáticos para poder poner sus huevos y protegerse. De esta resina se extrae el pigmento rojo al poseer esta resina antraquinona. Es un antiguo y poderoso pigmento con una bella leyenda. Se dice que estos insectos habitaban en el ficus gigante, donde el Buda se iluminó. El día de su iluminación salieron miles y miles de estos laccifer lacca volando.
